The agreed dates of our themed environment weeks for 2025 are as follows:

Zero Waste Week: May 4th to May 10th
Wildlife Week: June 14th to June 22nd
Sustainable Water Week: July 12th to July 19th
Zero Carbon Week: September 20th to September 27th

Specific events associated with those weeks are:

Jumble Trail: Sunday 4th May, organised by Addingham Environment Group.

Rather than send unwanted goods to recycling set up a table outside your home or at one of the hubs in the village, and let your unwanted goods find a new home.

Charge as much or as little you wish. Donate as much or as little as you wish to a charity of your choosing

The Environment Group is charging £5 per household to cover costs of setting up the event and producing leaflets.

Our annual review “How Green is our Village 2025” will be on Saturday 16th November

Our CAA annual review this year will be on Saturday, November 9th, 2 – 6 pm, Addingham Memorial Hall

CAA Review 2024 It’s now two years since The Parish Council and The Civic Society launched Climate Action Addingham. We reviewed our progress last year at a sell-out meeting in the Memorial Hall and planning is now well underway for this year’s review

“How Green is our Village 2024?”

Displays and talks by our Village Community Groups and a keynote talk by Mareike Schmidt on “Addingham 2035”. The whole village is invited! All welcome!
